Data Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to support an enterprise-level Sales Incentives team at a large telecommunications client. This role focuses on performance analytics, incentive and commission analysis, and hands-on data work that directly supports sales channel decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong technical fundamentals like SQL, Excel, and Python and enjoys balancing analytics with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to analyze incentive performance, support reporting and dashboards, and contribute to the ongoing modernization of incentive analytics and tooling. This is a 6 month contract to hire and pays $56-$62hr.

• 3-7 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics-focused roles
• Strong background in Advanced SQL skills (T-SQL and/or Redshift SQL) for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Strong Python experience
• Ability to conduct complex data analysis and develop metrics or models to support business decisions
• Experience creating dashboards or reports using Tableau and/or Power BI
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, complex formulas) Comfortable being hands-on with data while also translating findings into actionable insights

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to AI-assisted analytics or modeling tools
• Internship experience or early-career exposure to analytics roles in a professional environment Familiarity with web-based reporting tools or analytics platforms
