The Leidos Chief Informion Office, reporting through our Digital Modernizion sector is seeking a highly skilled and motived Da Center Administror to join our team., You will be responsible for the deployment, configurion, maintenance, and optimizion of enterprise da center infrastructure and systems. This role is critical to ensure the da center environment operes efficiently, securely, and reliably while meeting organizional performance and availability requirements. In this role, you will work independently to achieve operional objectives and drive measurable impact across project deliverables and operional outcomes. This position is responsible for managing complex technical processes and supporting da center design, modernizion, and innovion initiives. You may also be responsible for mentoring junior technical staff and reviewing work products to ensure adherence to quality and operional standards. As a Da Center Engineer/Administror, you will contribute to maximizing system up time, improving scalability, and implementing industry's best practices to support current and future business technology needs., * Work alongside the senior da center systems engineer to design & implement secure infrastructure systems.
- Contribute to operional documention, standard opering procedures, and continuous process improvement initiives.
- Assist with capacity planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and implemention of da center best practices.
- Support ongoing modernizion, scalability, and reliability initiives within the da center environment.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize da center infrastructure, including servers, racks, cabling, and supporting hardware.
- Respond to operional incidents impacting service availability and escale issues to senior technicians or management as required.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, contractors, and support teams.
- Support da center operions to ensure high availability, operional efficiency, and compliance with organizional standards and procedures.
- Perform server rack installions, structured cabling, hardware upgrades, and break/fix activities across a variety of da center components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, system, and network-reled issues within enterprise and lab environments.
- Maintain accure asset inventory records within Da Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems for both production and laborory environments.
- Perform shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and Return Merchandise Authorizion (RMA) activities.
Complexity
- The role requires the development of advanced technical solutions through collaborion with experts and in-depth analysis. You will need to demonstre understanding of systems architecture, integrion, and engineering principles, applying them to develop solutions to complex and often unclear technical challenges within the da center environment.
Communicion
- Collabore effectively with internal teams and client project teams to ensure alignment in solution design and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and influence team approaches to system integrion, requirements, and security., * Requires a mix of on-site and remote activities, with field activities such as rack installion, cabling, and environmental monitoring.
- Flexibility to handle on-call rotions and occasional after-hours maintenance tasks, as needed, to ensure round-the-clock service reliability.
- Hands-on physical activity, such as lifting servers or hardware replacements, will be required.
- Some Telework may be authorized based on skills, responsibilities and duties assigned

Requirements
- This role requires demonstred understanding of principles, theories, and concepts of systems engineering and technical domains coupled with some systems administrion duties. A broad understanding of reled specialty areas such as automion, cybersecurity, and system integrion is essential to success.
- Understanding of network design, protocols and OSI Model layer 1/2 troubleshooting
Required Qualificions
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certificion (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP)
- Experience managing complex systems throughout their life cycle, from design to implemention and maintenance.
- Experience connecting and integring dispare systems into a cohesive and unified infrastructure.
- Demonstred experience leading and coordining projects from initiion to successful completion
- Knowledge of physical IT infrastructure (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.).
- Experience managing and validing business & tech requirements, including functional non-functional elements.
- Hands on experience designing & implementing secure infrastructure systems to align with organizional policies.
- Demonstred experience working with vendors (RMA processes, support interactions)
- Hands on experience creing blueprints for designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
- Experience with Incorporing enterprise security measures and managing security risks.
- Experience identifying risks and implementing measures to protect sensitive systems and da.
Desired Qualificions
- Certificions such as CCNA, VMware, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or reled.
- Experience with da center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools.
- Experience implementing automed solutions to maximize efficiency in the da center.
- Demonstred expertise in designing & managing hybrid environments (da centers combined with cloud solutions i.e. AWS, Azure).
- Demonstred experience with multiple Server opering systems (Windows, Red H, Ubuntu)
- Experience with automion tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash). Red H Ansible Automion plform
- Strong knowledge and skills with enterprise virtualizion technologies (VMware, Red H OpenShift)
- Strong commitment to cyber defense mechanisms and proactive thre detection.
- Experience working in an AGILE environment.
- Da Center Management Certificion a plus.
