• Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.\n
• Possess 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.\n
• Experience and familiarity with Agile methodology, principles, and tools\n
• Proven Cross functional Agile Team Management/Leadership Experience\n
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication\n
• Experience with the design of cloud-based systems\n
• Experience with cost tracking and EVM or EVM light methods.\n
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this role\n, * Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies\n
• Knowledge of and experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines\n
• Knowledge of air traffic control systems, general aviation, and/or flight services\n
• Practical knowledge of FAA/DoD systems, technical policies, standards and orders\n
• Experience supporting Flight Services or Air Traffic Management systems\n
• Experience in engaging with FAA customers\n
• Knowledge of and experience with AI-assisted initiatives that have improved your efficiency as an agile team manager.\n

Leidos is seeking Agile Development Team Managers to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting the transformation of next-generation flight service and air traffic management systems. This high-visibility effort supports the FAA's mission to modernize critical aviation infrastructure through advanced cloud-based technologies, agile software delivery, and scalable digital solutions that enhance safety, resiliency, and operational efficiency across the National Airspace System.\n \n This work aligns with the FAA's broader initiative to replace aging legacy flight service capabilities with modern, cloud-enabled platforms designed to improve safety and operational effectiveness, particularly in remote and high-dependency aviation environments. These efforts focus on delivering mission-critical, future-ready solutions that provide safety-critical flight services to the pilot community. As a manager of a Scaled Agile software development team, you will lead and drive execution across agile teams consisting of Systems Engineers, Software Developers, and Testers to ensure successful sprint and release delivery. You will collaborate across teams to resolve dependencies, remove blockers, and maintain alignment across a complex modernization environment.\n \n This role offers the opportunity to lead high-performing engineering teams while influencing technical strategy, program execution, and delivery outcomes across a large-scale modernization initiative. Teams are helping transition legacy systems to modern, cloud-enabled architectures utilizing Agile, DevSecOps, automation, and scalable engineering practices to deliver the future of aviation services.\n \n In this role, you will also monitor team performance, delivery metrics, program execution, and earned value to ensure successful outcomes and proactively address schedule or cost variances.
