About DTMB: The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) (https://youtu.be/H_IrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.

About this Position: This senior level position is responsible for managing and administering agency specific and enterprise agency applications and tools. Activities include the verification of the architectural integrity of the application environment, recommend solutions based on the results of technical impact analysis on all proposed infrastructure changes to ensure feasibility and cost effectiveness and develop and manage configuration management standards, processes, and policies. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members and evaluate new agency applications and tools.

This position mainly supports the development and maintenance of Higher Education Institutional Data Inventory (HEIDI) and IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD). Also expected to support Business Objects for Management Information DataBase (MIDB)., Certain positions may be assigned subclass codes and individuals appointed must possess the required specialized experience.

Requirements

Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, project management, or mathematics.

Experience

Information Technology Project Manager 14

Three years of professional experience equivalent to an IT project coordinator.

Alternate Education and Experience

Information Technology Project Manager 14

Possession of a Project Management Professional, (PMP) certification may be substituted for the experience requirement. Possession of a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification may be substituted for 1 year of the experience requirement.

Possession of SUITE Certification may be substituted for 2 Educational Credits.
