Job description
- Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations using technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions
- Provide production support for integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, IT systems)
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and our own instance of Snowflake to enable scalable people data pipelines, reporting, and advanced analytics
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across integrations, adhering to governance, compliance, and privacy standards
- Manage integration deployments across tenants and support Workday release cycles, including impact analysis and regression testing
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data mappings, and processes
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve integration performance, scalability, and reliability
- Promote best practices in integration design, error handling, and monitoring to ensure system stability
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance troubleshooting and documentation
Requirements
Do you have experience in XSLT?, * 10+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience in a global environment
- Strong experience with Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs (SOAP/REST), Workday Extend, Orchestrate
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services technologies
- Experience with integration middleware or iPaaS solutions (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plus
- Solid understanding of Workday data models, business objects, and security framework
- Familiarity with HR processes, employee lifecycle data, and downstream system integrations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex integration issues
- Experience with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and integration error handling best practices
- Curiosity and experience experimenting with and building solutions using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or Workday Agents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
- Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building scalable, efficient solutions
- Operate with a customer service mindset, can-do attitude, and grace under pressure

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $184,000 - $241,500.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
