Job description

Our client, a U.S.-based healthcare organization supporting a federal IT modernization initiative, is seeking a ServiceNow / Azure Engineer to join a mission-critical project team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining both the ServiceNow platform and the Azure cloud infrastructure it operates on. This is a hands-on, hybrid role requiring strong technical depth across ServiceNow development and Azure administration, with the ability to support secure, compliant environments aligned to federal standards. The resource will work onsite alongside the federal project team, with day-to-day direction from the client's technical leads.

Requirements

ServiceNow

  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience
  • Scripting (server-side + client-side), workflows, and integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience with CMDB, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Performance Analytics
  • Familiarity with GRC/SecOps is a plus
  • Certs preferred: CSA, CAD, CIS

Azure

  • 3+ years administering Azure environments
  • Strong experience with:
  • Compute & networking (VMs, VNets, NSGs)
  • Identity (Entra ID, MFA, RBAC, PIM)
  • Monitoring & security (Azure Monitor, Sentinel, Defender)
  • DevOps & IaC (Pipelines, ARM/Bicep/Terraform)
  • Azure Government Cloud experience preferred
  • Certs preferred: AZ-104, AZ-305, SC-200

Compliance

  • Active clearance preferred; must be obtainable if not currently held
  • Experience working in regulated or federal environments
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, HIPAA Exposure to ATO processes is a plus
