Network Administrator

A local company is seeking a Network Administrator to assist with technology, firewalls, switches, servers, networks, workstations, hardware and software. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., * Design, configure, and maintain client networks (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN

• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Monitor network performance, up-time, traffic, and security risks
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues
• Implement network security; firewalls, segmentation, and intrusion prevention
• Managing IP addresses; DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Provide escalated all-level technical support to customers via phone, email and through our ticketing system
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner
• Recommend improvements to our internal processes to maximize customer service levels
• Develop rapport with clients as a trusted resource for help
• Perform other duties as needed

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in similar technology support role required
• Must have experience and current working knowledge of networking, firewalls, switches and VLANS.
• Must be committed to improving your technical and soft skills through company offered and self-guided study to further your career in IT
• Must have a strong technological aptitude, work ethic, and problem-solving skills
• Must have exceptionally strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills while being detail oriented
• Must have own reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
