Job description
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our elite team supporting testing and evaluation operations in Albuquerque, NM. Our integrated team provides essential expertise across multiple disciplines to maintain national security through state-of-the-art testing capabilities, technical evaluation, and systems engineering.
Our comprehensive team handles diverse responsibilities including
- Developing instrumentation plans and methodologies for testing measurement objectives
- Researching and implementing state-of-the-art data acquisition systems and sensor technologies
- Ensuring environmental compliance and NEPA standards at test sites
- Developing comprehensive health and safety plans for construction and testing activities
- Managing underground safety programs and confined space protocols
- Maintaining test site readiness for RDT&E programs
- Handling CBRNE sources/simulants and providing technical guidance
- Conducting CBRNE analysis and developing standards to measure weapon system effectiveness
- Engineering assessments for Nuclear Fuel Cycle testing and IEDs
- Analyzing technology gaps in the WMD/C-WMD spectrum
- Supporting sUAS systems and electronic warfare analysis
- Monitoring test bed construction activities and ensuring quality assurance
- Ensuring compliance in storage, handling, and transportation of test explosives
- Managing explosive operations safety and post-test hazard abatement
- Providing logistical support for test operations including forecasting usage rates, coordinating equipment, and managing inventories
Requirements
Bachelor in engineering or other relevant field and 5 years of experience in test and evaluation OR Associates Degree and 8 years OR a High School diploma and 11 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with instrumentation planning, data acquisition systems, and sensor technologies
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, inspection protocols, and NEPA compliance
- Expertise in safety management, risk assessment, and hazard analysis
- Ability to manage respiratory protection, PPE programs, and confined space protocols
- Systems engineering expertise, particularly for weapons and capabilities evaluation
- Technical writing abilities for documentation like SOTOs, TRDs, TDDs, and TEPs
- Construction monitoring, quality assurance, and project management skills
- Logistics management experience, including inventory control and maintenance planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple technical disciplines
- Willingness to work in field conditions at test sites
**Must have a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain up to a TS/SCI level clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Conducting test and evaluation for DoD
- Familiarity with DoD safety, security, and IT policies
- Experience with CBRNE testing, handling radiological sources, or simulated test environments
- Knowledge of explosives safety, storage, handling, and transportation requirements
Benefits & conditions
Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
