Job description

Our Matched Savings Program help families triple their savings to become homeowners or to upgrade their existing homes in Kansas City, KS and surrounding Wyandotte County communities. The Stewardship VISTA will help us improve our existing Matched Savings program by supporting development of systems, outreach strategies, and program coordination tools, identifying outreach opportunities, measuring program success and reasons for participant withdrawal from programs and strengthening cross-department coordination systems and developing new workflows/processes using our current information systems. Through this VISTA project, Build WyCo wants to make a broader and deeper impact on Wyandotte County and current Homeownership Promotion & Preservation services. Our current 2:1 Matched Savings program gives up to $4,000 free to buy a home or make improvements to your current home in Wyandotte County.

Member Duties : Duties include: 1. Standard Operations Procedures by Review current documentation and adjust according to community needs and organization's resources. Interview of staff involved in aligning documented processes and actual tasks. Support the homeownership team to assess and develop recommendations for improved file organization systems and documentation processes. 2. Information Systems & Communication Plan by Review current CRM and create workflows, automatization to better communicate with program participants. Assess current communication channels and program needs. 3. Evaluate Effectiveness of the Program & Execute Outreach by Survey program participants to measure program success, Create an outreach calendar for matched savings program. Make recommendations for changes to strategy or implementation of the program.
