Senior Test Engineer

• Develop and execute Test Plans, Procedures, and qualification reports to verify customer requirements
• Create and support Statements of Work (SOWs) for external Test Rig suppliers and qualification labs
• Lead qualification and implementation of custom mechanical/electrical test rigs
• Coordinate environmental, thermal, EMI/EMC/ESD, and mechanical testing activities
• Collaborate with suppliers, Design Engineers, Program Managers, and Test Technicians throughout testing programs
• Support troubleshooting, sustaining engineering, and production test equipment implementation
• Manage testing schedules aligned with overall program timelines

This role focuses on developing test strategies, creating Test Plans and SOWs, working with external Test Rig companies and certified labs, and leading qualification testing activities for military and commercial aerospace applications., * BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of Test Engineering experience in aerospace or electromechanical environments
• Hands-on experience with Test Rig development, qualification, and external test vendors
• Experience creating Test Plans, Procedures, and SOW documentation
• Strong background in MIL-STD-810 environmental testing
• Experience with EMI/EMC/ESD testing per RTCA DO-160G and/or MIL-STD-461
• Experience with sensors and instrumentation including load cells, torque cells, encoders, and resolvers
• Ability to support external qualification testing and travel to test facilities as needed

Preferred Skills

• Aerospace industry experience (military and/or commercial)
• Experience testing electromechanical systems and electrical harnesses
• LabVIEW knowledge preferred
• Basic Siemens NX or 3D modeling experience
• Experience working with external Test Rig companies such as Viavi Solutions, AMETEK, Keysight Technologies, Tektronix, or Teledyne.
