Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM: You'll join a team focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of companies EV charging infrastructure through systematic testing and validation. Our EV charging network is one of the largest in the world for private fleets. We value attention to detail, thorough documentation, and efficient test automation, working closely with vendors to maintain high standards across our charging network.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in systems development, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency in requirements management from elicitation to verification in EV chargers, power supplies and converters.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications., * 5+ years of experience in developing test plan, execute the tests and generate report based on the test cases provided by engineering team and leadership.
  • 2+ years of experience/proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and data logging instruments.
  • Developing/executing/documenting market-based and customer-specific System Integration Tests.

Communication Protocols:

  • Knowledge of digital bnetwork communication protocols such as OCPP and ISO15118 (for EV chargers), CAN, Modbus, RS485, and Serial.

Electrical Safety and Maintenance:

  • Strong understanding of electrical safety in laboratory environments
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical distribution systems, including developing maintenance and testing procedures for DC and AC power distribution equipment.

Lab Maintenance:

  • Proficiency in cleaning, rebuilding, and troubleshooting components for pulsed power systems.
  • Experience in maintaining and operating pulsed power component testers.

Firmware and Validation:

  • Experience with firmware integration, EV charger interoperability, and debugging.

Microsoft Office Suite:

  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Programming and Data Analysis:

  • Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data parsing and visualization. Experience with scripting and programming tools to assist in analysis and automation of data collection.
  • Support design improvements of DC systems.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and lead.
