Site Reliability Engineer

Carrier is seeking a Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to support and evolve the Carrier BAS Cloud SaaS platform, ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and compliance. This role blends deep hands-on cloud engineering, SRE principles, and DevOps automation, with a strong emphasis on SOC2-aligned operational rigor., * Design, operate, and continuously improve highly available cloud platforms

• Apply SRE principles including SLOs, error budgets, and incident response
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployments
• Implement secure identity and access patterns (IAM, IRSA, OIDC)
• Support SOC2 compliance, audits, and evidence collection

• 2+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineer, Mathematics or Information Systems

Or

• 4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles and High School Diploma/ GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• CI/CD, GitOps, AWS SSM, Terraform, Python, Bash
• AWS production experience
• SOC2 or regulated SaaS experience
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills

The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually.
