Principal Job Duties: Provides hands-on operational and analytical support for workflows, including:
- Assisting with data cleanup, auditing, and maintenance across platforms including Litify (Salesforce) and Filevine to help ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Generating and formatting reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, filtering, conditional formatting, etc.) to track and analyze case metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Performing data validation, reconciliation, reporting support, and basic data visualization tasks.
- Supporting reporting and basic data visualization efforts using Excel, AWS QuickSight, or similar business reporting tools.
- Running and exporting reports from Litify and FileVine, and assisting with tracking case progression, deadlines, and milestones.
- Develop, manage and optimize Power Query workflows to streamline data transformation and analysis processes.
- Create, modify and troubleshoot automation scripts to support bulk data updates, integrations, and workflow automations.
- Assisting with system updates, data maintenance, and other operational support tasks as assigned.
- Working with attorneys, intake teams, legal staff, and operations to help identify and resolve data discrepancies and support workflow processes.
Assist litigation teams with various ad hoc projects, including data analysis, internal audits, and system implementation.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Expected to contribute to documentation, workflow testing, and process mapping as systems evolve.
- May occasionally work outside standard business hours to support reporting deadlines or project deadlines.
- Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm security, privacy, and compliance protocols.
- May be assigned additional responsibilities in support of operational goals and mass tort project execution.

Do you have experience in System development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bailey & Glasser, LLP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst to join our Mass Tort Practice Group in our Maryville, IL office. This position plays a vital role in managing and maintaining operational data across internal systems. This position supports case intake, data integrity, and reporting by generating and polishing large datasets across platforms such as Litify (Salesforce), Filevine, and Excel.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn,with strong technical proficiency in Excel, a working knowledge of CRMs, strong coding experience with Python, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies. This role requires curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to operational accuracy in a fast-paced legal environment., * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in Excel, data analysis, or a CRM like Salesforce (a plus).
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in data operations, legal operations, case management, or administrative/data support.
- Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, conditional formatting, data cleanup).
- Experience with or previous exposure to CRM-based platforms like Salesforce, Litify, or Filevine is strongly preferred
- Experience with Python for automation, scripting, data processing, or application development.
- Experience with workflow tools or automation platforms is a plus.
