Job description
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Senior Performance Guidewire Developer with 7-10 years of hands-on Guidewire experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned Guidewire professional who thrives in high-impact production environments, excels at diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and can drive performance optimization across mission-critical insurance applications. This individual will serve as a senior technical contributor focused on Guidewire performance, production support, and issue resolution-ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability across core systems. A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on production support work.
Requirements
7-10 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter preferred, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)

Strong hands-on Guidewire production support experience -Proven Guidewire expert with deep understanding of configuration, integration, GOSU, and Guidewire architecture. -Extensive experience in production support, including real-time issue resolution and post-incident analysis. -Strong background in performance engineering, including profiling, tuning, and load testing. -Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementations. -Proficiency with Java, GOSU, SQL, and performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK). -Strong understanding of web services, messaging, and integration patterns. -Ability to work onsite in Lake Mary, FL.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues under pressure.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, or DevOps tooling.
- Knowledge of insurance domain workflows and business processes.
- Prior experience leading performance engineering initiatives or production support teams.
- Certifications such as Guidewire Certified Specialist or Guidewire Cloud Certified.
