Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 3+ years equivalent work experience.
Solid software engineering fundamentals - including data structures & algorithms, object-oriented design, and concurrency.
Experience in building high scale backend distributed systems using public cloud technologies.
Strong Java expertise - including but not limited to: Core Java, Multithreading, non-blocking IO.
Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and React.
Experience writing unit and integration test (Jest, Playwright, Cypress etc).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity using AI for software development and maintenance, developing machine learning systems, ML frameworks, libraries and algorithms is desirable.
Familiarity with GitHub, build and deployment tools like Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, Kubernetes.
Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation testing.
Experience with building rich websites that work well across various browsers.
Experience with large TypeScript code bases with logical organization into components.
Worked with designers to build user interfaces that stand out.
Experience in communication with RESTful APIs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
