Job description
The Role: As Senior Solutions Engineer, you own AudioGraph's technical go-to-market. You lead complex pre-sale conversations, build repeatable implementation playbooks, and create the operational backbone for a seamless client experience from first pitch through post-campaign wrap. Your work drives sales effectiveness, deal velocity, and client retention.
What You'll Do:
As Senior Solutions Engineer, you own the technical go-to-market for AudioGraph. You are the most technically fluent person on the commercial side of the business-leading complex pre-sale engagements, designing repeatable implementation playbooks, and building the operational infrastructure for a best-in-class customer experience from first pitch through post-campaign wrap-up. You will have direct, measurable impact on sales effectiveness, deal velocity, and client retention.
Sales Effectiveness & Deal Acceleration
- Lead technical pre-sale engagements with agency holding companies and mid-market agencies, translating AudioGraph capabilities into solutions that align with their buying workflows, planning tools, and KPIs.
- Build reusable pitch assets-technical one-pagers, demo environments, objection-handling frameworks, ROI calculators-that equip sellers to move deals forward without waiting for SE availability.
- Reduce time-to-proposal by owning a standardized deal configuration process: audience strategy, market selection, measurement approach, and pricing structure templated and ready to customize.
- Participate directly in high-value pitch meetings and RFP responses; own the technical narrative that differentiates AudioGraph from competing audio solutions.
- Train and enable the seller base through recurring technical workshops, deal clinics, and 1:1 coaching on how to position AudioGraph's capabilities.
Operational Excellence & Customer Experience
- Design and own the end-to-end client lifecycle playbook.
- Ensure seamless handoffs between sales, ad ops, and client services at every stage transition-no client should ever feel like they're starting over with a new team.
- Architect campaign configurations for complex deals including audience layering, frequency management, creative specifications, and cross-platform measurement design.
Platform & Partner Integration
- Inform the product roadmap by synthesizing field-level technical feedback into prioritized requirements; participate in sprint reviews and beta testing for new capabilities.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical account management, or advanced ad operations within programmatic advertising.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic supply chain: bid mechanics, deal structures (PMP/PG/preferred deals), header bidding, and SSP-DSP integration patterns.
- Direct experience with major DSPs (Amazon, TTD, DV360, Viant, Basis, or equivalent) from a technical integration or partner perspective.
- Hands-on proficiency with ad serving platforms (Triton, GAM, FreeWheel, or equivalent), including deal setup, inventory packaging, and log-level troubleshooting.
- Strong grasp of audience data architecture: identity graphs, data onboarding, clean rooms, and how audience segments flow through the programmatic pipe.
- Experience with measurement and attribution methodologies (pixel-based, exposure file, foot traffic, brand lift) and at least one vendor in the space.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive cross-functional projects without direct authority.
- Excellent communication-comfortable presenting to agency leadership and equally comfortable debugging a bid stream with an engineer.
Nice to Have
- Experience in audio, podcast, or broadcast advertising.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Operative AOS, or similar order management systems.
- SQL proficiency and experience building operational dashboards or reporting pipelines.
- Experience working within a media company or publisher-side ad tech team.
- Prior experience in a player-coach or team lead capacity within an SE or technical solutions group.
What You'll Bring:
- Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
- Expertise with various technical disciplines and applications
- Close attention to detail and quality orientation
- Ability to multitask on a variety of critical projects
- Ability to work independently, while also collaborating with others
- Strong communication skills, particularly when explaining complex technical information
- Ability to provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical/infrequent
- Analytical thinking and the ability to identify patterns
- Efficiency with own work and impact of team results
- Informal leadership capabilities with an interest in mentoring less experienced team members
