Job description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Systems Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of modern cloud-based platforms and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong AWS knowledge, hands-on CI/CD experience, and a deep understanding of containerized environments and DevOps best practices., * Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure and application environments.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, security, and deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments.
  • Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
  • Support container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling.
  • Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to improve platform resilience and performance.
  • Maintain strong version control discipline across all code repositories.

Requirements

  • Technical bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field).
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems engineering.

AWS Cloud Platform Foundational-to-intermediate experience using AWS Console and CLI, with working knowledge of: SNS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, CloudFormation (CFN), Step Functions, Route 53, DynamoDB, EBS, EFS, S3, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ECS, EKS, KMS, IAM, Secrets Manager.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, or similar
  • Ability to integrate automated testing, scanning, and deployment orchestration

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Strong experience with Docker/ Podman
  • Expert understanding of Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Argo CD ( GitOps deployment)
  • Helm
  • Istio service mesh
  • Keycloak for identity and access management

Version Control & DevOps Practices

  • Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review best practices
  • Experience working within automation-driven DevOps environments
  • Ability to document architectures, processes, and operational runbooks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Background in security best practices and compliance frameworks
