Job description

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our collaborative team responsible for transforming inspired designs into precision-built solutions for the home. In this role, you will bridge design, engineering, and production-ensuring that each custom solution is thoughtfully engineered, beautifully crafted, and built to the high standards our clients expect.

Your work will help bring designers' visions to life while supporting efficient manufacturing and seamless installation.

What You'll Do

  • Translate design concepts and architectural drawings into detailed production plans and accurate cut lists.
  • Engineer practical solutions for custom cabinetry, built-ins, and home organization systems.
  • Partner closely with design consultants, CNC programmers, and production teams to ensure designs are both beautiful and manufacturable.
  • Optimize materials and production workflows while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and maintain clear, accurate documentation throughout the process.
  • Support installation teams and collaborate with project managers to ensure every project is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, interior fabrication, or architectural woodworking.

  • Proficiency with CAD and 3D design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision, or Microvellum.
  • Strong ability to interpret design drawings and translate them into precise production documentation.
  • Deep attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of materials, joinery, and manufacturing workflows used in high-quality cabinetry and built-ins.
  • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, industrial design, engineering science.
