Job description
- Support the administration of the Industrial Security Program in compliance with NISPOM and DCSA requirements, including classified material accountability, maintenance of security records, and preparation of DD Form 254s.
- Assist with personnel security actions, onboarding, system and facility access requests, CAC processing, VAR submissions, and visitor coordination.
- Contribute to security briefings, awareness efforts, audits, inspections, and updates to security documentation.
- Provide operational support to Program Managers and IPTs, help manage access control and visitor management systems, and utilize tools such as DISS, NISS, DoD SAFE, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Support obtaining, monitoring, auditing, and approval of security-related purchase orders and invoices.
- This will be an onsite role in our Chesapeake, VA facility., * Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DoD CAF), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Requirements
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.?, * Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years' prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in Industrial or Military/Government security role
- Active and transferable Confidential clearance level required at time of application . U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience supporting classified environments or defense programs
- Familiarity with NISPOM and DCSA processes
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, teams
- Experience using security systems and databases (e.g. DISS/NISS)
- Knowledge of government/depot processes with active DoD clearance.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
