Job description
- Lead end-to-end Business Central implementations - from requirements analysis and fit-gap through configuration, testing, go-live, and post-deployment support
- Conduct business process mapping and solution design sessions with stakeholders across finance, operations, inventory, and field service functions
- Deliver on-site installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at client locations; ensure SLA compliance and first-time resolution targets are met
- Develop and manage customizations, extensions, and integrations with CRM, field service, inventory, and third-party systems using AL or in collaboration with development teams
- Execute data migration strategies and validate data integrity across source and target environments
- Coordinate field engineers and manage escalations, diagnosing technical and functional issues at customer sites
- Deliver client training, knowledge transfer sessions, and post-go-live coaching to drive user adoption
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and manage release cycles with minimal disruption, * Implementation delivery rate: on time and within budget
- First-time resolution rate at client sites
- Average time-to-resolution for field incidents
- Customer satisfaction score (CSAT / NPS) post-deployment
- Reduction in field downtime and escalation frequency
- User adoption rate 30/60/90 days post go-live
A Typical Day & Travel Expectations
No two days look the same. One morning you may be running a fit-gap workshop with a CFO; the afternoon may put you on-site resolving a critical inventory sync failure before a client's shipping cutoff. You will travel up to 40% of the time to client locations across the region, with flexibility for remote work during design, configuration, and documentation phases. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
Requirements

You bring 6-7 years of proven implementation and field service experience, a consultative mindset, and the ability to walk into a client site, diagnose a problem, and leave with the system running and the team trained. If you are the person clients call when it matters most, this role was built for you., * 6-7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across multiple industries
- Demonstrated track record delivering BC implementations on time and on budget (e.g., 10+ full-cycle projects, 100+ users supported)
- Proficiency in requirements analysis, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration
- Experience with BC data migration, integration architecture, and third-party connector management
- Working knowledge of AL development or strong ability to collaborate with AL developers on customizations
- Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration patterns
- SQL and/or Dataverse query and data management experience
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification (required)

- Prior experience in an MSP, consulting firm, or multi-client delivery environment
