Job description
- Design and support industrial network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VLANs, and secure remote access solutions
- Configure and deploy servers, workstations, virtualization platforms, and related OT infrastructure for automation and control environments
- Assist with cybersecurity implementation including network segmentation, endpoint protection, access controls, and backup/recovery processes
- Support system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site integration activities at customer facilities
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, commissioning reports, and as-built project records
- Provide customer support and training related to industrial systems, networking, and cybersecurity best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred
- Experience supporting industrial networking, automation systems, SCADA environments, or OT infrastructure
- Familiarity with managed switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, virtualization technologies, and Windows/Linux environments
- Understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts and best practices within manufacturing or infrastructure environments
- Exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA, or historian platforms is highly desirable
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Industry certifications related to networking or cybersecurity are considered a plus
- Ability to travel periodically to customer sites for startup and commissioning support
- Valid driver's license required
