Job description
We are seeking a Principal Solutions Architect - Managed Services to lead enterprise cloud-native data platform initiatives across multiple customer environments. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role focused on architecture, operational guidance, cloud optimization, and managed services delivery across modern enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise with AWS, PySpark/Spark, and Snowflake, along with strong experience operating within client-facing, consulting, or managed services environments.
What You'll Do: Technical Leadership
- Architect, design, and optimize enterprise cloud-native data platforms
- Lead operational and architectural guidance for modern data warehouse and analytics environments
- Design scalable and high-performing cloud data solutions leveraging AWS, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, and related technologies
- Lead technical teams supporting streaming, data lake, warehouse, and analytics ecosystems
- Mentor engineers and guide technical delivery across multiple simultaneous customer engagements
- Drive automation, platform optimization, scalability, and performance improvements
Client Engagement & Managed Services
- Serve as the technical lead across multiple customer accounts and evolving technology stacks
- Build Epics, Stories, and Tasks to improve and mature enterprise data platforms
- Present technical recommendations and architectural solutions to executive stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with customers to troubleshoot, optimize, and evolve cloud data environments
- Lead technical discussions around data modeling, orchestration, governance, and platform modernization
What You Bring:
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
o AWS o PySpark / Spark o Snowflake
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Managed Services, or Solutions Architecture roles
- Strong experience supporting enterprise cloud-native data platforms
- Experience with streaming, orchestration, and integration technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or DBT
- Advanced SQL optimization and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong Python development and automation experience
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
Important Requirement
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Background:
- Snowflake SnowPro or advanced Snowflake certifications
- Experience within consulting, managed services, or enterprise customer environments
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud automation, and enterprise platform operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Benefits & conditions
Salary: $170,000 - $205,000 per year, * Competitive compensation: $170K-$225K base salary + bonus
