Job description

As an Industrial Security Analyst - Level 3 or Level 4 located in Colorado Springs, CO, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

The Industrial Security Analyst (ISA) will support the execution of security operations for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and company policies related to classified program protection, personnel security, classified material accountability, and facility/program security.

The ISA will partner closely with government customers, program teams, and internal stakeholders to enable mission success while safeguarding classified information and maintaining compliance standards.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administer and execute security requirements for SAP and SCI programs in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer directives, contractual requirements, and company policies
  • Process personnel security actions including nominations, indoctrinations, debriefings, access requests, visit certifications, and access roster management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable requirements, including NISPOM, customer directives, DD254 requirements, and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and support inspection readiness, self-inspections, and audits
  • Ensure accountability and proper handling, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified materials
  • Coordinate classified visits, briefings, foreign travel reporting (if applicable), and security education requirements
  • Identify security risks, incidents, or compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide security guidance and customer support to program teams and leadership
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on speed, quality, compliance, and customer experience
  • Partner across functional teams to resolve issues and meet mission timelines
  • Other duties as assigned

This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 1 year of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) approval/access
  • Working knowledge of personnel security, classified material accountability, and program security requirements
  • Experience with access management systems and government security databases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, * Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 4 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
