As a Test Engineer you will take the lead in developing and executing advanced testing methodologies for lithium-ion batteries. With a strong focus on State of Health (SoH) and State of Safety (SoS) analyses, you will own the testing landscape-driving tools, processes, and methodologies from concept to shopfloor implementation.

Key Responsibilities

· Take full ownership of SoH and SoS testing methods, tools, and infrastructure.

· Source, design, and implement test equipment and laboratory setups.

· Define and execute test specifications, validation protocols, thermal studies, and degradation analyses.

· Develop scalable test setups, templates, BMS tools, and supplier-driven facilities.

· Lead operational implementation by creating safe, standardized discharge and testing procedures and training operators.

· Establish calibration strategies and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC certification requirements.

· Build KPI dashboards and deliver structured customer reporting.

· Master's degree in Engineering (Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar) or equivalent through experience.

· Proven experience sourcing and commissioning laboratory test equipment.

· Strong data analysis skills, including reporting, dashboard creation, and Gage R&R studies.

· Demonstrated expertise in defining and implementing test procedures and methodologies.

· Hands-on, structured problem solver with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

· Familiarity with IEC standards and international testing protocols.

· Experience in funded R&D or innovation projects.

· Knowledge of tools such as SCPI, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or CANape.

· Understanding of lithium-ion battery technologies.
