This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Adminsitrator to work on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme. Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information. CETRA BASE is currently looking for 2 experienced IT Systems Administrators. Positions are based in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France) and/or Madrid (Spain). Tasks and Responsibilities To provide IT system administration support for operational systems ensuring continuity and availability of services while supporting incident handling and operational team activitie. Those activities encompass: Handling of incidents and requests Performing daily and weekly routine health status checks Providing daily reports Executing Preventive Maintenance procedures Executing Corrective Maintenance procedures (e.g. faulty HW replacement) Participating in recurrent technical meetings Essential qualifications and experience We are looking for a Windows and/or Linux Systems Administrator with minimum 2 (two) years of hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following fields: Microsoft technologies: MS Windows Domain (AD), MS Exchange, IIS, RDS, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Linux & Container Orchestration: Red Hat Linux, command line, kubernetes, ansible, rancher Version Control & CI/CD: GitLab Server (GitLab Enterprise), SonarQube Web & Database Management: WordPress, MySQL, MongoDB & Mongo BI, Minio Object Storage, Oracle Database Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus / Grafana, OpenNMS, Nagios Storage & Backup: Longhorn, VEEAM Security & Networking: Firewall Management, IDS Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Management, VPN Solutions, Antivirus Management Middleware & Application Servers: jBoss EAP At least B2 level of English according to CEFR levels. Desirable Experience in Space programmes MCSA, MCSE or equivalente certification Security In line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate
