Do you want to drive the future of digital energy by defining the strategy for virtualized protection and control systems?, The Virtualization Product Owner will define and drive the virtualization strategy and roadmap for our Grid Automation portfolio, bridging the gap between customer needs and technical execution.
You will act as the voice of the product, translating complex market requirements into clear technical plans while guiding the R&D team through the development lifecycle. This role is central to our mission of virtualizing protection and control applications, helping to make energy grids more efficient, adaptable, and future-ready., * Driving the product vision and strategy for virtualized protection, control, and edge-computing applications.
- Building and prioritizing the product roadmap by balancing customer value, business objectives, and technical innovation.
- Creating clear, actionable requirements that translate complex market and stakeholder needs for the engineering teams.
- Leading backlog management and decision-making on release timing to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborating across engineering, UX/UI, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless path from development to market launch.
- Improving product performance through continuous feedback loops, data analysis, and iterative enhancements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a quarterly basis to support global team alignment., You should be a visionary product professional with a strong technical background and a passion for industrial automation, with:
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts and market trends into a cohesive product roadmap.
- The capability to engage effectively with both highly technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- An understanding of Agile methodologies and how to drive product development in a fast-paced environment.
- An expertise in virtualization technologies, such as hypervisors and virtualized application architectures, ideally within power or industrial systems.
- A keen interest in the future of digital substations and grid modernization.
A formal education in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements in product management or systems engineering.
