As a Backend Developer, you contribute to the digital backbone behind our robotic ecosystem. You work on systems that enable reliable communication, data processing, and robot management at scale. Your work directly supports innovations that improve animal welfare, farm efficiency, and sustainable food production.
In this role, you collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders in multidisciplinary Scrum teams. Together, you design and improve scalable backend services, translate business needs into technical solutions, and continuously strengthen the quality, performance, and security of our platforms.
Your main responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate functional requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
- Contributing to the development of future-proof platform modules and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Improving software quality, maintainability, and performance through testing, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
- Helping ensure secure and reliable systems by contributing to authentication, authorization, and cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have a Master's degree?, You are a software Developer who enjoys building reliable systems and solving technical challenges together with others. You combine a structured and analytical mindset with curiosity and a strong sense of ownership. You feel comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment where software contributes directly to robotics and digital innovation.
You will likely recognize yourself in much of the following:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in backend software development.
- Experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern backend frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or ExpressJS.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and building scalable backend systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud or container technologies such as Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- An interest in software quality, testing, and secure development practices, including authentication and authorization concepts.
- Familiarity with cyber security (authentication, authorization, threat modeling).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and translate requirements into practical solutions.
- A self-starting personality. You are someone who doesn't wait for instructions and who starts designing and prototyping to prove whether concepts work or not.
