Job description
The Cloud DevOps Engineer will support a mission-critical system by designing, building, and maintaining Azure-based application platforms. Working closely with developers, architects, and project teams, the engineer helps ensure reliable delivery and smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. They also contribute to technical decision-making and guide stakeholders toward effective, scalable solutions., * Design, build, and maintain application platforms on Azure, including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud, infrastructure, and deployment issues to ensure reliable, high-performing and highly available systems.
- Make and advocate for sound technology decisions, contributing constructively to architectural direction and platform evolution.
- Collaborate across teams and clients to deliver, support, and modernize a mission-critical system in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Initiate improvements to existing systems and elaborate these changes to stakeholders
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * You have a bachelor's or Master degree in IT (or related) field

5 years relevant experience in DevOps Engineering in a mission-critical environment
- You have strong Azure-wide cloud engineering experience
- You are proficient in CI/CD automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- You have solid Kubernetes expertise
- You are willing to work on a project for a client that offers lottery/gambling services
- You are willing to be available for standby duty (24/7 shift 1x per month), a 24/7 allowance is included
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Proficiency in Dutch
- Experience with on-call support & Incident Management
