About this role

Are you ready to innovate? As our new People Technology Developer, you will design and implement sophisticated Human Resources (HR) technology solutions within our ambitious team. Focusing on integrations, you will own the full development life cycle while collaborating across IT and business networks to drive excellence. We care about your growth and want you to deliver impactful, well-thought-out solutions that lead the way in improving our general technology landscape.

Location: Amsterdam

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Lead the design and development of innovative HR integrations using Workday Studio, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and PECI.
  • Deliver high-quality, configurable solutions that follow established standards and remain easy to test and maintain.
  • Drive excellence by creating robust unit, acceptance, and wider system integration tests to address complex edge cases.
  • Collaborate closely with the People Technology Product team to prioritize work and manage Agile delivery methods effectively.
  • Care for our business systems by resolving operational tickets within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and providing post-deployment support.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation that aligns perfectly with standard methods and essential internal IT controls.

  • Foundational HR systems and integration knowledge, ideally with exposure to Workday environments.
  • Integration experience using tools such as Workday Studio, APIs, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
  • Curiosity and a strong learning orientation to stay current with upcoming technical updates and emerging digital tools.
  • Interest in expanding your skillset into Workday Extend and Artificial Intelligence (AI) software development.
  • Valuable experience working successfully within fast-paced Agile methodology environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts easily to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset, acting as a true team player who fosters open communication and constructive development.
