Job Title: Boomi Integration Architect Location: London or Birmingham Salary/Rate:£600-£800 a day Start Date: 8th June Job Type: Contract 3-6 months Boomi Integration Architect
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise integration solutions. The successful candidate will define integration strategies, establish architectural standards, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations across cloud and on-premises applications.
This role requires strong expertise in the Boomi AtomSphere platform, API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Define integration architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and governance processes.
- Lead API strategy, lifecycle management, and integration best practices.
- Architect real-time, batch, file-based, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for integration developers.
- Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Drive CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence across integration platforms.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise modernization programs.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere.
- Expertise in API Management, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, data mapping, and transformation.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and Middleware technologies.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS platforms (eg, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of security standards including OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and encryption practices.
Professional Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to present architectural solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading integration teams and managing complex enterprise projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Boomi Professional Architect Certification.
