Data Engineer

• Build and maintain scalable, automated, event-driven data pipelines and data models
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data is clean, accurate, and accessible
• Manage data integrations, imports/exports, and audience segmentation across platforms
• Monitor and optimise existing data pipelines, ensuring performance and reliability
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Systems teams, and Data Governance to improve data quality and reduce technical debt
• Work with third-party partners and platforms to enhance data capabilities
• Take ownership of data governance and privacy best practices, ensuring compliance and responsible usage
• Support the business by ensuring teams have access to accurate, usable data to drive decisions

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience in data engineering and modern development practices (2+ years)

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and relational databases (RDBMS)
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and integrations
• Strong understanding of data quality, testing, and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience in e-commerce or retail environments
• Curiosity to learn new tools and stay up to date with emerging data practices, Please note this is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
