Job description
We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Temporary Administrative, IT & Learning Support Officer to join our team on a 20-hour-per-week basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a digitally confident, people-focused candidate who wants to gain strong UK workplace experience while supporting administration, IT, digital skills, learner engagement, customer service and outreach activities.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day administrative operations, assist learners and clients, provide digital and IT support, contribute to tutoring or learner-support activities, and help strengthen engagement with individuals, employers, partners and community stakeholders.

- Use Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, to prepare documents, manage records, and support communication.
- Use Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, and Meet.
- Provide basic IT and digital support to staff, learners, clients and service users.
- Communicate professionally with learners, clients, employers, partners, suppliers, and members of the public.
- Deliver excellent customer service, including responding to enquiries, supporting registrations, signposting and follow-up.
- Support tutoring, teaching, training, learner engagement and basic assessment activities where required.
- Socialise and network confidently with B2B and B2C contacts, including employers, partners, clients, learners and community stakeholders.
- Assist with outreach, marketing, events, learner recruitment and business-development activities.
- Maintain accurate records, protect confidential information and follow organisational policies and procedures.
- Travel to meetings, outreach sessions, delivery sites or partner locations when required., * Gain valuable UK workplace experience in administration, IT, customer service and learner support.
- Develop practical experience using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and digital communication systems.
- Build professional confidence through B2B and B2C engagement, outreach and networking.
- Access a clear temp-to-permanent pathway after 6 months, subject to successful probation and business needs.
- Work in Salford in a people-centred role that supports learners, clients and community engagement.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools.
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
- Strong IT confidence and willingness to learn new digital systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer-service skills and a professional telephone/email manager.
- Experience, confidence or clear potential in tutoring, teaching, training or supporting learners.
- Ability to build positive relationships with B2B and B2C stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence and access to your own transport.
- Flexible, dependable and positive attitude.
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK. Applicants on Student visas must be able to comply with their permitted working hours and any other visa conditions.
