Senior Network Engineer - £500/day Inside IR35 - 4-Month Contract - Dumfries (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to work hands-on with Cisco technologies, shaping and optimising enterprise network environments.
Your responsibilities as the Senior Network Engineer:
- Design, implement, and support network infrastructure solutions using Cisco technologies
- Deliver network improvements, upgrades, and optimisation across existing environments
- Provide hands-on engineering expertise across routing, switching, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with wider IT and project teams to deliver high-quality network solutions
- Ensure network performance, resilience, and security standards are maintained
- Contribute to documentation, design standards, and best practices
As a successful Senior Network Engineer, you will have:
- Proven experience working as a Senior Network Engineer in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Demonstrable experience in network design and delivering infrastructure improvements
- Solid troubleshooting skills across complex network environments
- Experience with hybrid working environments and distributed networks
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNP or equivalent) are highly desirable
