Job description
As the new IT Support Technician, you'll be the go-to person for first and second-line support across the business. Working closely with the Infrastructure Manager and in-house developers, you'll handle a wide range of technical challenges and support requests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert remote and face-to-face support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Installing and configuring new equipment
- Maintaining the printer fleet
- Supporting business-wide projects, deployments, and upgrades
- Offering general user assistance and technical advice
- Primarily Manchester-based with occasional travel to Liverpool
Requirements
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- At least 1 year in a similar IT support role
- Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of networks, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication systems, and hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus qualifications: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365, AWS Cloud Practitioner
