Job description
Under general supervision by a senior Systems Administrator or other unit manager, installs, configures, and troubleshoots computer systems and associated assemblies and provides help desk technical assistance and training to system users/customer.

Must report to duty in all WX conditions A/O remain over night
Essential Responsibilities:
-
Assists with basic configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis of Desktop and Servers, networks, video systems.

Participates in the installation and administration of local systems using multiple protocols and various computer systems/tools.

Writes detailed/technical problem reports, assists with root cause analysis and recommendations for configuration and process changes.

Installs, upgrades and administers operating systems and application software in multi-user client/server environments, using Windows 11 Enterprise.

Provides customer with technical support by responding to IT help desk issues.

Perform other related duties and tasks as directed.
Requirements
-
Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility or the ability to obtain TS/SCI . Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Must possess and maintain a Comp TIA Security+ CE certification .

Trained in information assurance to DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II
-
2-4 years' information technology and Windows OS experience in the field.

Posses demonstrated system or network administration skills, knowledge, and technical competence in the management of workstations, information systems and networks to include both hardware (A+) and software.

Understand network topology, standards, and protocols.

Possess hands-on experience administering Windows 11 as well as Windows Server 2016/9 experience.

Possess a professional understanding and use of Microsoft Office Professional suite of software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Must possess and maintain a current state issued driver's license.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associates Degree is preferred in a related discipline augmented by ongoing academic/technical training and/or certification programs specific to the work unit hardware/software tools and
