Job description
Collaborate with business users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to tackle business requirements and deliver against high operational standards of system availability and reliability. Design and implement the next generation of financial solutions based on a wide array of technologies. Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Stepfunctions, EMR, Lambda etc and integrate them with 3rd party applications like IBM Planning Analytics. Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support customer reporting needs. Build monitoring dashboards and creation of critical alarms for the system. Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources. Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers. Collaborate with business users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to tackle business requirements and deliver against high operational standards of system availability and reliability. Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and suggesting fixes. Prepare runbooks, methods of procedures, tutorials, training videos on best practices for the team. Build and enhance software to extend system, application, or tool functionality to improve business processes and meet end user needs while working within the overall system architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience with the following skills: (1) TM1 technical skills including rules and TI coding, security setup, report development, and ongoing maintenance of existing models; (2) experience gathering requirements for new projects and providing user training; (3) experience with data modelling, data warehousing, or building ETL pipelines; (4) finance experience including working on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and processes; and (5) proficiency with MS Excel and building reports connected to TM1.#0000
Benefits & conditions
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $149,240/year to $183,300/year.
