Job description
The candidate will act as liaison between business, vendor and IT personnel to develop business requirements, perform software quality assurance, provide implementation and post implementation support for variety of corporate application projects. They will participate in system implementations, enhancements and support related activities. The candidate will gather and document requirements for a new solution, business process change and communicate those to the vendor and IT personnel. The candidate should have 5 years of experience and strong working knowledge of the business requirements gathering, software testing, troubleshooting, and supporting the business functions. A solid working knowledge of systems design process and methodology along with familiarity with finance and corporate applications is required. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with financial and corporate platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MS Dynamics BC), SAP Concur, BlackLine, Workday Adaptive Planning, Drupal CMS, and related enterprise applications. Exposure to agentic AI and Power Platform is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document detailed information from users regarding user requirements and translate user needs into specific system requirements
- Handle full lifecycle management of user requirements (Initiation, development, review, sign-off)
- Review the design documents and ensure it meets the business and technical requirements
- Develop, document and execute test cases, test scenarios and test plans
- Track and document execution results, retest defects after resolution as necessary and receive necessary sign-offs
- Communicate status and project issues/concerns to project manager
- Facilitate requirements and testing process between vendor, business and IT teams
- Gain understanding of business application functionality and associated business processes
- Review and document change requests, receive sign-off and support implementation
- Analyze and resolve incidents and requests for variety of corporate applications
- Support and enhance enterprise finance and corporate applications
- Provide support for application access provisioning and deprovisioning
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required
- At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst on software projects in supporting requirement analysis, test script development and execution.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintaining and supporting variety of business applications.
- At least 5 years of experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team and users. Liaise with business leads on the requirements and testing.
- Practical knowledge in manual and automated testing, performance, UAT, Unit, regression and integration testing.
- Experience in testing web applications, Mobile applications in a cross platform and browser environment.
- Experience in handling change requests, incidents and requests along with project related activities.
- Experience performing analysis and troubleshooting of production support issues.
- Exposure to finance processes and experience in finance applications such as MS Dynamics Business Central
