Job description

  • Design, develop, and evaluate ML/DL models for EEG and behavioral datasets.

  • Perform time-series analytics and feature engineering; build interpretable model outputs for scientific stakeholders.

  • Create dashboards and visualizations supporting translational insights and clinical trial readouts.

  • Apply rigorous statistical analysis (study design support, QC, model evaluation, uncertainty).

  • Work closely with biologists and clinicians to translate scientific questions into measurable signals and actionable endpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Strong programming and software design skills in Python, with a thorough understanding of software engineering principles, application packaging, and deployment.

  • Strong experiencewith data analysis libraries or tools (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter ,notebooks; reproducible workflows).

  • Experience in developing DL models (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, RNN/LSTM).

  • Solid background in statistics.

  • Experience with time-series data.

  • Experience with computer vision methods (as relevant to behavioral video/pose/features).

  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.

  • Comfort working with biomedical/clinical data and interpreting biological signals (EEG, behavior, trial endpoints).

  • Collaborative, driven with experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deeply understand the "why" and "how" of our work.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Benefits & conditions

Annualized base salary range: $70,000 - $110,000. Salary will be determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, knowledge, education and geographic location.
