Job description
We're hiring a Software Engineer III to help build the next generation of developer tooling at Sinch. You'll work alongside a senior engineer on the CLIs, SDKs, web apps, and services that developers use to create, test, deploy, and operate software on Sinch. You'll focus on shipping new features. AI coding tools are part of the daily workflow here, and you'll get hands-on with them from day one. The team moves fast, so we're looking for someone who's already strong and wants to get a lot stronger.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
-
Build features across our developer-facing CLI, SDKs, web applications, and backend services
-
Ship improvements that make it faster and easier for developers to deploy and operate services on Sinch
-
Use AI-assisted workflows in how you build, and help bring those capabilities into what we build
-
Partner with the senior engineer and product peers to turn problem statements into shipped capabilities
-
Contribute to reliability, observability, and developer experience as you go
Requirements
-
3+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack exposure
-
Strong TypeScript and modern web application experience
-
Comfortable working across frontend and backend code, and willing to go deeper on either side as needed
-
Active use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as a core part of how you work
-
Working knowledge of Kubernetes or container-based deployments
-
Solid written and verbal communication
Who You Are
-
You like working across the stack and want to keep broadening rather than specializing too early
-
You like making developer workflows smoother and cutting friction for users and internal teams
-
You're genuinely interested in AI coding tools and getting the most out of them
-
You can take a defined problem and turn it into something that ships
-
You'd rather ship something useful and improve it than wait for the perfect plan
-
You're curious about how senior engineers approach hard problems and want to grow in that direction
-
Experience with agent-based workflows or AI-assisted developer tools is a plus
