Job description

Huntsman is seeking an IT Technician II - Site Services Support supporting the IT Division located in Los Angeles, California. This position will report to the IT Manager Site Services Management Americas. Job Scope

This position provides technical services and support for business systems and applications across multiple sites. The role supports site operations, ensuring efficient system functionality while adhering to Huntsman standards, policies, and procedures. In summary, as an IT Technician II - Site Services Support, you will:

  • Provide technical services and support for business systems and applications, ensuring accuracy and reliability in execution.
  • Support site functions, roles, and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist in the development of procedures and best practices for application users.
  • Manage incidents and requests using ITSM tools.

Additionally, you will:

  • Resolve routine technical issues and escalate more complex problems to higher levels as needed.
  • Work under direct supervision, following established procedures and instructions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Ensure consistent workplace presence and be available to work additional hours if needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Assist in achieving Huntsman company goals and complete assigned tasks from supervisors.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives and required company training programs.

Requirements

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates., * High school diploma or equivalent.

  • One year of relevant experience may be substituted for one year of formal education.

Experience required

  • 3+ years of related experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management.

Skills and knowledge

  • Proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing and complex technical environment.
  • Strong customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking.
  • High standards of process adherence and demonstrated client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
