Job description
Seeking a strong administrative professional to support a national Radiation Safety team. This is not a technical radiation role. The position is focused on systems-driven administrative support for compliance workflows, documentation management, and regulatory coordination., * Support FDA 2579 submissions through technical review for accuracy and completeness.
- Compare information on forms against system data in P40.
- Correct forms as needed and track missing or deficient submissions.
- Submit forms to FDA, state agencies, and customers.
- File completed forms and maintain associated databases.
- Monitor FDA 2579 mailbox and communicate deficiencies to field teams.
- Support license billing and payments, including checks and PCard processing.
- File paperwork related to Service X-Ray Registrations and Radioactive Material Licenses.
- Enroll and maintain personnel records for radiation safety training programs.
- Support the Radiation Dosimetry Program by reviewing requests, processing communications, filing documentation, issuing dosimeters, supporting quarterly shipments, and maintaining databases.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Review X-Ray Demonstration requests and submit to state agencies as required.
- Upload event requests into demonstration databases and review against state regulations.
- Update submitters regarding approval status.
- Review service reports to determine if Texas Equipment Performance Evaluations (EPEs) are required.
- Enter EPE requirements into SAP and related databases.
- Coordinate customer communications and scheduling related to EPEs.
- Work with contracted physics groups as needed.
- File EPE documentation and maintain tracking systems.
Requirements
- Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience working across multiple systems and databases simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow structured processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft platforms and workflow tools.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Power Platform.
- Experience with compliance, regulatory, or QA processes.
- Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, or radiation safety environments preferred but not required., * Ideal candidates will have strong administrative and systems coordination experience.
- High-volume processing environment with structured workflows and training provided.
- Team-oriented environment with independent work responsibilities.
