Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect with deep expertise in agentic AI systems to join our global Application Modernization group.
In this client-facing role , you will bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and real-world enterprise outcomes - designing tailor made solutions, leading discovery workshops, delivering compelling demos, and producing actionable project estimates and roadmaps. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on enough to prototype, build proof-of-concepts, and guide modernization teams., Client Discovery
- Lead client discovery sessions and AI readiness assessments to surface high-impact use cases
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured technical architectures and implementation roadmaps
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding strategic Agentic AI adoption decisions
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain reusable solution frameworks, playbooks, and reference architectures
Agentic AI Architecture & Delivery
- Build and maintain proof-of-concepts and reference implementations that demonstrate business value
- Define integration patterns for connecting AI agents to enterprise systems (CRMs, ERPs, APIs, data lakes)
Demos & Presentations
- Create and deliver live, interactive demos of agentic AI capabilities tailored to specific client contexts and verticals using the Kyndryl Agentic Framework (KAF)
- Design and present compelling solution narratives - from executive briefings to technical deep-dives
- Develop demo environments, sandbox prototypes, and reusable demo assets that showcase differentiated value
Estimation & Pre-Sales
- Produce detailed project estimates covering effort, cost, risk, timeline, and team composition leveraging Kyndryl's solution calculator and other Kyndryl tools
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, and technical proposal sections
- Define MVP scopes and phased delivery plans aligned to client budget and business priorities
- Collaborate with sales, consult, and legal teams to structure technically sound, deliverable engagements
- Own technical due diligence for new opportunities and validate feasibility of proposed solutions
Requirements

And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others., * 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting
- 2+ years hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic AI applications in production
- Proven track record in a client-facing advisory or pre-sales architecture role
- Deep expertise with at least one agentic framework: LangChain/LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Python; comfort with TypeScript/Node.js a plus
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, Chroma) and embedding pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to scope and estimate complex Agentic AI projects from discovery inputs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication - equally effective with engineers and executives
- Experience delivering live technical demos to client audiences of varying technical depth
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and enterprise security requirements
- Ability to travel 30% of the time, * Experience in a management consulting or professional services firm
- Background in one or more verticals: Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail/CPG, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, or the Public Sector
- Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, Google PDE, or equivalent
- Exposure to enterprise AI governance frameworks and AI risk management
Benefits & conditions
The compensation range for this position in the US is $143,640 to $273,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off. Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
