Job description
- Develop and release manufacturing methods for precision machined components and assemblies
- Translate drawings, specs, and requirements into routings, tooling, inspection plans, and process controls
- Support prototype/NPI transition into stable, high-quality serial production
- Provide technical input for costing and quoting (cycle times, labor, tooling, inspection, etc.)
- Build and maintain accurate ERP workflows, routings, and production data
- Define CTQs, inspection strategies, and metrology requirements (including GD&T and measurement systems)
- Drive process maturity improvements (yield, cycle time, capability, scrap reduction)
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams
- Interface with customers on manufacturability, production readiness, and technical requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related)
- 8+ years in precision manufacturing, applications, or process engineering
- Strong experience with CNC machining, inspection, and production methods
- Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (routings, workflows, costing inputs)
- Deep understanding of GD&T, metrology, and quality systems (FAI, PPAP, capability, MSA)
- Proven track record launching products from NPI into stable production
- Experience in regulated industries (MedTech, Aerospace, Defense) preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma experience strongly preferred

In accordance with New York salary transparency requirements, the anticipated annual base salary range for positions is: $90,000- $110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project leadership background.
