Job description
- End-to-End Data Acquisition Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of data acquisition initiatives, including new starts, transitions, dataset expansions, and process improvements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data integrations aligned with business needs.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, collaborating with Medical Leadership, Operations, and facility stakeholders to define data needs, assess availability, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
- Discovery & Requirements Definition: Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements, identify risks and constraints, and define scope, timelines, and expectations; develop detailed documentation including business requirements, data specifications, and workflow artifacts.
- Data Analysis & Validation Support: Analyze healthcare data (HL7, FHIR, flat files) to support mapping, validation, and identification of gaps or anomalies that may impact downstream processing and business use.
- Engineering Coordination & Integration Delivery: Partner with engineering teams to translate requirements, clarify technical details, and ensure successful development, testing, and deployment of data integrations.
- Project Planning & Execution Management: Develop and maintain project plans, communication strategies, and status reporting; lead sprint ceremonies and coordinate team workload to ensure priorities are aligned and delivery timelines are met.
- Client Delivery & Communication: Lead client and stakeholder meetings to provide updates, address risks, resolve issues, and maintain alignment throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Delivery Oversight & Risk Management: Monitor overall delivery health across multiple initiatives, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, and driving alignment to maintain project momentum.
- Intake, Scoping & Pipeline Management: Support intake and scoping of new data acquisition requests, ensuring requirements are complete, actionable, and aligned with SCP Health data standards and delivery expectations.
- Documentation Governance & System of Record: Ensure key decisions, documentation, and communications are consistently captured, maintained, and accessible within designated systems.
- Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency: Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, implement improvements to enhance data acquisition workflows, delivery consistency, and cross-team coordination.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment: Provide leadership and guidance during implementations, ensuring stakeholders remain engaged, aligned, and accountable across the project lifecycle.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Healthcare Data & Interoperability Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including EMR systems and data exchange formats such as HL7, FHIR, and flat file structures.
- Requirements Translation & Documentation: Ability to translate complex business, clinical, and operational requirements into clear, structured, and actionable technical documentation to support implementation and integration efforts.
- Project Execution & Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum across competing timelines and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, assess impacts, and drive resolution in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.
- Meeting Facilitation & Cross-Functional Alignment: Ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, accountability, and progress.
- Organization & Documentation Discipline: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, track progress, and ensure accountability across initiatives.
- Agile & Delivery Practices: Working knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog coordination, and iterative delivery practices.
- Data Analysis & Validation Awareness: Ability to analyze and interpret data outputs to support validation, identify discrepancies, and ensure data quality prior to business consumption.
- Ownership & Accountability: Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability, capable of operating independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Coursework or training in healthcare IT, project management, or data-related disciplines preferred., * Minimum 2 years experience working with EMR systems, healthcare applications, or healthcare data.
- Minimum 2 years experience in client engagement, implementation, project coordination, or technical support roles.
- Ability to read and interpret healthcare data formats such as HL7, FHIR, flat files, or CSV structured data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for clients and internal teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Experience creating documentation such as requirements, process flows, or technical specifications.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Certifications in healthcare IT, business analysis, or data integration (optional but beneficial).

Pay Range: 65,464.00 - 96,904.00 USD annually
