Sr. System Engineer

• Support system design, integration, testing, and validation activities
• Perform requirements analysis, system decomposition, and interface definition
• Coordinate external interfaces and ICDs
• Support technical planning, risk analysis, and system performance evaluation
• Work within Agile development environments across cross-functional engineering teams
• Contribute to system security, modeling & simulation, and technical documentation efforts
• Identify and resolve complex system and software design challenges
• Support customer interactions and technical discussions

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
• Experience with modem software, ground systems, and systems integration
• Strong understanding of multi-level security / cross-domain environments
• Experience coordinating external interfaces and ICDs
• Agile development experience
• Ability to independently manage technical complexity and requirements decomposition
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• US Citizenship required due to government contract requirements

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor, is seeking a Sr. Modem Software Engineer to support a new Restricted Ground Systems program in Scottsdale, AZ. This role will support the design, development, and integration of mission-critical Ground Systems for government customers.
