Devereux is seeking a Data Engineer to support and advance our growing analytics capabilities. In this role, you'll work with a mission-driven team to transform complex data into actionable insights that support clinical care, education, and operational excellence across the organization., Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, the Data Engineer will design and manage data ingestion processes from core internal systems-including Electronic Health Records, Financial systems, and People Operations platforms-as well as external data sources. This role transforms raw data into high-quality, analytically ready datasets and contributes to advanced analytics and modeling initiatives.

Working closely with the Data Analytics & Integration team, this individual will combine strong technical expertise with business insight to ensure that data solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs.

Requirements

EDUCATION: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or relevant coursework and work experience in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.

  • 1-3 years of experience with statistical modelling techniques

  • Programming with Python/R experience

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, Team player, Good time-management skills, Great interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills, Self-starter and highly motivated.

Benefits & conditions

  • Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, In addition to a competitive salary, Devereux provides a comprehensive health and welfare program to eligible full-time employees, family members and domestic partners.
