The Department of Economic Development is looking for an IT Analyst II, under general supervision, is responsible for formulating/defining all activities related to the administration of data and/or databases; research, compilation and evaluation of information used in the development, enhancement or maintenance of software as a service systems and websites., Develop software implementation and installation plans. Research vendor software announcements of new products or new releases of installed products and prepares appropriate action recommendations. Develop processes and procedures to ensure backup and recovery capabilities are in place and executed. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and three years related experience or A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience. Experience may include application programming, software installation and software maintenance, including systems programming, online programming, database design, analysis and programming using IFS and/or SQL/DS and database administration. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the Euna Grants system. Experience with state and federal grants. Working knowledge of R or Python.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
D atabase management concepts, data administration and data standardization policies. Knowledge of basic math; project management practices; administering relational database software: conducting tests to determine if software or procedures are operating as needed.
