GIS Analyst

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a transportation organization, is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst. This role is responsible for supporting enterprise GIS systems, maintaining geospatial data and databases, and developing GIS solutions that support operational and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, implement GIS applications, and support both current and future geospatial technology projects., * Perform GIS analysis, geoprocessing, data creation, maintenance, validation, and retrieval activities

• Design, develop, and implement GIS solutions utilizing ArcGIS applications and enterprise technologies
• Support and enhance existing GIS projects while contributing to new geospatial initiatives
• Develop data collection, reporting, and visualization solutions using GIS applications and tools
• Gather business requirements and recommend GIS-based solutions that align with operational needs
• Develop and maintain geographic databases, data models, and geospatial data standards
• Manage and support GIS data workflows, versioning processes, and quality assurance activities
• Assist with administration and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise environments and related platforms
• Support integration of GIS data with relational databases and enterprise business systems
• Create maps, dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot GIS application and data issues
• Maintain project documentation, technical specifications, and GIS procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst utilizing the ESRI product suite
• 3+ years of experience managing geodatabases and relational database environments
• 3+ years of experience working with Autodesk AutoCAD, BIM data, and GIS conversion processes
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Online
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro
• Experience developing solutions using ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS Experience Builder
• Experience supporting GIS databases, data models, and geospatial data workflows
• Knowledge of GIS analysis, geoprocessing, cartography, and data management best practices
• Experience working with SQL databases and database versioning concepts
• Ability to work onsite full-time, * Geographic Information Science Certificate or related GIS certification
• Experience with interior building mapping and facility-related GIS projects
• Experience with 3D GIS technologies, including ArcScene or similar tools
• Experience with GIS scripting and automation using Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps and Git for development and project workflows
• Experience integrating GIS platforms with asset management systems
• General knowledge of Maximo or similar enterprise asset management solutions
• Experience supporting enterprise GIS architecture and system administration
• Experience developing GIS dashboards, web applications, and interactive mapping solutions
