Job description
The Data and Evaluation Director leads Safe Haven's program data and evaluation strategy, and outcome reporting across all programs. This role designs and maintains data systems and dashboards in Salesforce and HMIS, develops and oversees implementation of evaluation tools and processes, partners with program leadership to translate data into program improvement, prepares grant outcome reports, and serves as Safe Haven's internal expert on program measurement. This leadership role works closely across programs, development, and operations department leadership and staff to ensure that Safe Haven's data tells an accurate and actionable story about family outcomes., * Lead Safe Haven's data and evaluation strategy, including evaluation tool development and administration, outcome measurement, and program-improvement learning cycles.

Design and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports that serve program leadership, the CPO, COO, CDO, CEO, Safe Haven Board, and grant funders.

Lead grant outcome reporting for the public and private grants, in partnership with other department leaders.

Ensure HMIS data quality for Safe Haven, serving as HMIS Point of Contact in coordination with program leadership.

Translate data into actionable insight for program leadership through data outcome reviews and regular ongoing analysis.

Maintain Salesforce data architecture decisions in partnership with Salesforce administration support, including data model changes, automation, and integration improvements.

Build and maintain workflows that ensure data entry standards are followed across the program team; lead data quality audits.

Train and support program staff on data entry, dashboards, and using data in their daily work.

Support grant compliance through accurate, audit-ready data and documentation.

Partner with the Marketing Coordinator and Development team on outcome storytelling and impact reporting.

Represent Safe Haven in community settings, including the HMIS and Data Committee of the Continuum of Care.

Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive client and program data.

Adhere to agency policy, procedures, and the professional code of ethics.

Requirements
Do you have a valid Certified Salesforce Administrator certification?, Do you have experience in Salesforce Cloud?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Must meet Safe Haven's core values: strive for excellence, serve with compassion, never stop learning, embrace inclusion, cultivate collaboration, communicate with integrity.

Bachelor's degree required; degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Data Analytics, Evaluation, Statistics, or related field strongly preferred. Master's preferred.

Three or more years of experience in program evaluation, data analysis, or data management, preferably in social services, homelessness response, or related nonprofit field.

Demonstrated ability to translate data into program improvement.

Strong Salesforce experience required; Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.

Experience with HMIS strongly preferred.

Experience with grant reporting (federal grants such as TANF, HUD, HHS, ESG preferred).

Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Comfort working across departments and with program staff at all levels.

Must be able to sit / stand for 8 hours.
