Job description
- Providing technical support for game design and development activities using Unity.
- Assisting with the implementation and refinement of gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive learning elements.
- Supporting deployment, testing, debugging, and maintenance of the game environment across development stages.
- Assisting with repository management, version control, and collaborative workflows through GitHub.
- Advising the research team on best practices for scalable and maintainable game architecture.
- Supporting troubleshooting and technical problem resolution during development and deployment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control?, Penn State Behrend's School of Engineering is seeking applicants for Part-Time Consultant - Game Design and Deployment Support., * The consultant should possess demonstrated experience in Unity-based game development, software deployment workflows, and GitHub collaboration tools. Experience supporting educational games, simulation-based learning environments, or interdisciplinary research projects is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are expected, as the consultant will work closely with faculty and student researchers., Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
